Summer is finally here! No more rainy intermission (so far) this March. Last year in September, II made my favorite playlist, movie and book to keep me company for the cold ber-season. This time, I will be making my summer list too!
MY SUMMER PLAYLIST:
- Colbie Caillat
There is something about Colbie that makes me thing of summer...Is it her highlighted hair, her sultry voice, her guitar and carefree laugh? Her songs makes me giddy-happy. I love her songs:Brighter than the sun, Kiss the Girl and Bubbly.
- Jason Mraz
Another guitar genius. When you think of Jason Mraz, you think of relaxing in a beach with an ipod with a cold drink in your other hand. His songs makes me want to chill like Melt with you, Lucky (with Colbie Caillat) and the old school, The Geek in the Pink.
Corrine Bailey Rae
When you hear this song, don't you just want to put flowers in your hair and bike under the summer sun? I love her voice and the messages in her songs. This is one chick that can cool your summer.
SUMMER MOVIE:
50 FIRST DATES
What is not to like in this movie? Drew Barrymore is adorable. Adam Sandler is sweet. This movie is funny and cute. And it is in Hawaii!! - a summer vacation destination. Summer love is definitely in our summer check-list.

CHICK LITS BY SOPHIE KINSELLA
I wasn't interested in reading chick literary until I discovered Sophie Kinsella. Though I haven't read her novel, Confessions of a Shopaholic (but I did see the movie), I immensely enjoyed reading her other novels. She is such a funny and talented writer that captures her audience with her witty and the adorable characters she makes & the awkward circumstances her heroines would get into. I could stop turning the pages. I would laugh hysterically and cry (secretly) everytime I read one of her novels. Her novels are a fresh and light, perfect for summer..
