With almost all restaurants in the city full and people waiting to be seated for hours, I was nice to come in the restaurant with a reserved table for two with my fiance name on it, hehe.. The restaurant has a pub-y, home-y touch with splash of German touch everuwhere. There were a few German(I presumed) guests in the restaurant. You see, this restaurant is also a hotel that most Germans would prefer to stay when they visit Iloilo. All girls in the resto were given rose-shaped chocolates by the beautiful owner which was very nice of her.
J ordered a Hungarian Sausage and I ordered a Schnitzel. But our eager adventurous tummies got pretty moody and the eagerness turned into irritation because we have been waiting for our orders for more than 1 hour, seriously... We arrived at around 7: 20 PM and by 8:45 PM, we were still, impatiently, for our food. J already asked the waitresses for our order 3 times. In fairness, though, to the resto, maybe they haven't anticipated they will be having a full night. Trying our best not to allow this involuntary-hunger strike to ruin our night, J joked that maybe they only got one cook and the cook also does the washing of the dishes that is why it is taking so long. He was also a good sport for not blaming me for picking the resto, he said, It is beyond my control. It's not my fault ah.. Awww, how sweet! Hehe...
When our food FINALLY arrived, we ate like starving kids. How was the food? I guess I was too hungry to fill my aching stomach with food, I couldn't really tell if it was good or bad... J wanted to order more rice or another viand but he was too scared (haha!) to order because we might wait again for another 1 hour... Noo! But he did order 1 extra rice which was fast, thank God. We also had a Spezi, a famous German drink which is actually a mix of soda/softdrinks with lemon.

Spicy Hungarian sausage |
Schinitzel (Breaded Pork with Mushroom Sauce) |
When we "tried" to get our bill and to get our change, it also took soooo long. Though I don't hold it against them because they might be overwhelmed by this flow of customers and besides, we still manage to enjoy the night. Will we eat here again? Maybe not on a Valentines Day, hehe... Oh my sweet funny Valentines....
