CRAVIN' FOR CRAVE BURGER

Wednesday, November 16, 2011

For several days, I have been wanting to eat at Crave Burger... I have always been a burger girl.. Not a spaghetti girl or a fries girl but a burger girl. Give me a burger and I am contently happy. I always opt for the regular Mcdonald cheeseburger for comfort food but if I want the real thing --- the fat juicy patty and all the wonderful things that goes in the bun-- I go to Crave Burger.

So, for several days of craving for Crave Burger, yesterday was the day to satisfy my   burger fantasy, hehe.

They have several joints in Iloilo but we went to the one near Casa Plaza. The lady/cashier told us we have to take our orders to-go because they were already closing, though they were still several customers inside the joint. My boyfriend and I wanted to dine in so we asked politely if there are other Crave Burger Restaurant that stays open later that this branch. We want that burger fix so badly, we didn't mind driving to another branch. But I guess the hunger (and desperation) are read so clearly in our eyes, the lady took pity on us and said ok, last order na kamu.... Weee! We both ordered the CC1 which is the regular Crave burger (no cheese), with skinny fries with a choice of a red ice tea or blue lemonade. My boyfriend picked the red drink while I chose the blue one.

If you are going to eat at Crave Burger, you need to have a bit of patience because it takes a bit of time to fry the fat patties. And when it arrived.... Alleluiah!

Yes, just like how I remembered it, the burger patty is huge and juicy. I have to flatten the burger, for me to take a bite. It comes with a crunchy lettuce, caramelized onions and big tomato slice.  What is also great in Crave Burger is the ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard containers are placed in front of you and you can squeeze as much as you want on your burger. However, the bun was just satisfactory. I also enjoyed the fries, reminds me of a less curly- McDonald's twister fries. The drinks were a bit to sweet and mine was so lemonade-y, I didn't finish my drink.

After eating 3/4th of my burger, I was already so full. I could get to finish it anymore, hehe. I just too the rest to-go....

So at last, my burger Cravin' has been immensely satisfied. Now, my tummy can rest from dreaming of Crave and is on to its new foodie adventure....hehe

Crave Burger can be located at Smallville, Casa Plaza and Jalandoni Street, Iloilo. It also has a trailer in Lacson Street in Bacolod.
