I mentioned in my previous blog that one of the highlights of my year is when my family visited me here in Singapore. They arrived on my baby bro's birthday! I brought them to Marina Bay Sands to witness the WonderFull Show on the deck and stroll around the Marina Bay Sands. For dinner, I decided we try the much-recommended restaurant Seafood Paradise at Singapore Flyer.
We had the:
PORK RIBS
This was highly recommended but it was just alright for me. It is like a simple sweetened pork. It reminds me a bit of the tocino but with less preservative-y taste.
CEREAL PRAWNS
My sister and I love this! It is like a heavenly puff in your mouth. You don't even need sauce to dip in it because the favour of the prawn is enough. The prawn has a wonderful creamy-esque, sweet taste that delights our gustatory buds.
BUTTERCREAM CRAB
This is also a highly recommended dish. It comes with fried toasted buns. However, I can show you pictures of the golden-toasted buns because it was devoured within a few minutes. My family loved the buns however, I am not a fan and especially now that I have another "theory" that I have gluten-allergy. But this crab is something else. I was surprised at the generous amount of sauce they served with this crab. The sauce was creamy and thick and belly-approved. We had two medium-sized crab for 8 people but we still have left-overs. The crabs were fat! The meat inside their claws were abundant. I was one happy eater. I am also thinking of my fiance back home who would have a ball digging in to these fat crabbies. Also the fried buns are perfect to dip into the creamy sauce (for those who doesn't have gluten-allergy, that is, hehe).
RICE
But as Filipinos, toasted buns are not enough. So of course, we got rice. I forgot the name of this rice. This is just a simple fried rice to eat with the other viands.
Seafood Paradise has a cozy ambiance and ver friendly waiters & waitresses. I am looking forward to try their other dishes also. I will definitely go back here in this Seafood Paradiso...
