MCDONALD'S SAMURAI BURGER

Tuesday, October 23, 2012

When the Big N' Tasty McDonald burger was introduced in the Philippines, it created such a hype. It even convinced me to crave for some. But sadly, I was disappointed. I even tried it one more time in  a different McDonald branch hoping that my tastebuds just went haywire the other time, but my opinions didn't change. But move over, Big N' Tasty, I just found a McDonald's burger here in Singapore to make my tastebuds sing again in the form of the Samurai Burger.

Samurai Burger in Singapore is  like the Twister Fries in the Philippines. Singaporeans rejoice went this burger is back and feels  little sad when the Samurai Burger period is over. I totally agree with them. I love this burger! The patty is a juicy quarter pound beef patty dipped in yummy Teriyaki sauce with additional special sauce and crunchy lettuce. It comes in single or double patties. It's bun has a generous amount of sesame seeds and thick and not soggy. You have the option in getting the Samurai Burger with some cheesy fries just like the 'shake-shake fries in a paper bag  KungFu Panda promo'. However, here, they only have the cheese flavour.

I was even told by a colleague that Samurai Burger in Japan is a year-round thing and he is hoping it will be the same in Singapore. I don't blame him. This burger can be hit especially to people who loves the teriyaki-goodness of Japanese food.

Blogging about this burger make me crave for one right now... Oh no! Hahaha!
