BLOGGING AND THE WONDERFUL GIFT OF HAVING TALENTED FRIENDS

Friday, July 27, 2012

I love blogging mainly because I love writing and it is also a means for me to share if I want to rave (or rant) about a particular book, movie, beauty product or I want to give  out recommendations of particular restaurants and good places to travel. But I do have some apprehensions about blogging: you, sharing a bit of your life allows people to  invade into your privacy and some people would think that your stamping your name in the blogosphere makes you self-indulgent and a tad bit egotistic especially if your blog is more of a personal blog or a fashion blog. I do sometimes thought of deactivating my blog for the two accusations (not of which I heard said to me directly or indirectly) I stated above. I guess I don't want to wait to the time I will be accused of those. However, I never seem to deactivate it because blogging has showed me a fun side of life: I learned how to share infos with other people in different parts of the globe; I helped out other people who reads my blog & asked me questions about my posts; I made couple of friends through my blog; I sought more fun & adventures in life; I allow the storyteller in me to emerge; I earned a bit (hehe); I learned the art of retrospection; I managed to know some tricks of photoshop: and all and all, it made me enjoy and explore more of life's surprises. I know I should invest more time in popularizing my blog so I can take advantage of the monetary aspect of blogging. I should be learning more about SEOs, networking and other ways to increase my traffic. I should be more adept with html codes and other technical side of blogging. I know that eventually I really should especially if I want to invest my time (and money) in blogging. But for now, while I am still trying to learn, I am blessed to have talented friends who knows about html codes and the like. I am such a lucky girl!

Look what my friend and  blogger of myplanetphilippines.com , Jakeson Pendon Florido  made for me. My very own banner of Little Miss Honey!!! He asked me to choose which I like. What do you think? Candidate #1, Candidate #2 or Candidate #3?

Candidate # 1

Candidate # 2

Candidate # 3

If you ask him to make blog banners for you too, uhmm I am afraid it will cost you hehe because unfortunately, he is not your friend, hehehe... But what you can do is help him by LIKING his blog entry for the T’nalak Festival 2012 Blog Writing Contest.

Here is the link of his blog entry:

Click FB like just above the first paragraph.

And maybe, you too will be blessed with having a good & talented friends like mine, hehe.. That good karma for you guys. Keep the LIKES coming, guys.... Thank you very much...
