THE NEW KRUA THAI: SIAM THAI CUISINE

J and I just finished a seminar and we were famished. We were deciding on what restaurant we are going to go for dinner. 


After carefully deliberation, hehe, we thought of trying the new Krua Thai: Siam Thai Cuisine. It was sad to know that one of our favorite restos, Krua Thai closed in Smallville Complex but we learned that it will be replaced by  a revamped Krua Thai: Siam Thai Cuisine, Krus Thai's sister restaurant that is available in Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. They were awarded "Most Promising Retailer" by the Ayala Malls. Their new slogan is authentic Thai cuisine refined to sophistication. They wanted a modern twist to the Thai Cuisine to adjust to the changing times.

In Krua Thai, the interior decor is purely Thai influence which dark wood, dim yellow lights, and intricate wood carvings on the wall. In Siam Thai Cuisine, the interiors remiain consistent to their brand. They gave the atmosphere more splash of colors and a touch of shabby chic but still with the heavy Thai influence resonating on the decors.

A Thai dining is never complete without our favorite Pad Thai with egg. It's the best! Order it. You won't regret it.

This one made our tummies happy. It wasn't too spicy just enough for me that I could enjoy the flavors in my mouth. The sauce was delicious, you can taste the coconut and the sweetness in it. The cuts of the chicken were in adequate portions. 


J ordered Mango Salad Rolls.

It's summer. And I just have tasted summer in my mouth. I can't stop singing praises for this appetizer. It is a spring roll with a minced fruit cocktails and a large strip of mango and yummy mayo-sauce in it. It comes with a blended mango sauce. 


We were so happy with our orders and our bulging tummies couldn't agree more....
