ANOTHER COFFEE ADVENTURE AT ROBB'S

Thursday, January 5, 2012

I was itching for another coffee adventure. My target was this new shop called Robb's Coffee.

And I enlisted my two coffee buddies to tag along this little adventure. Presenting..... The three coffee-addicts in their splendid candidness hehe...

Vane, Moi & Mar
The shop is located on the 2nd floor of Urban Inn. We even got lost a bit and ended up in the maintenance room of the inn rather than the coffee shop. Hahaha! When we did finally located the coffee shop, we were greeted by the waiter. I candidly asked if he had been a patient in the hospital. Blame my deteriorating  brain cells for embarassing myself. He politely replied that he used to work at the hospital for a short period of time. He happily accomodated us with our orders and tons of inquiry about their coffee.

Their menu:

Robb's strategically uses Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Lavazza Coffee Machine in making their coffees.

Our orders?

Vane's Coffee Mocha

My CBTL French Coffee

Mar's Caramel Macchiato

I have been a fan of CBTL coffee. I even proudly announced that I would choose CBTL coffee than Starbucks. Unfortunately in Robbs, if you order the CBTL coffee, you don't get a refill, hehe.. Mar & Vane got their refills, I didn't. Good thing, Mar was so kind-hearted (ehem...ehem...) and offered her 2nd glass of coffee to me, hehe. This what makes Robb's a completely unique experience with their refills and they also have Krispy Kreme donuts shipped from Manila. Too bad, there were no Krispy Kreme when we went that day. Because I was actually very hungry and no glazed donuts to curb my hunger, I opted on their tuna sandwich which did a good job in appeasing my hunger pangs.

The interior of the place are mostly dark hard wood furnishing & beautiful mural curtains. It is an ideal place for meetings because they have a long table & chairs and it is also conducive for a barkada's chill place.

We were so loud and noisy chatting about anything other the sun. We took pics of every corner of the place. We even asked our hospital friend to join us in our photo op. We were later joined by the owner of the place who introduced himself as Robb Partisala. He happily announced that he will opening branches soon in Manila.

Nasaan ka Vane?

with the owner, Mr. Rob Partisala
So for coffee-addicts like me & my friends who couldn't stop with just one cup (or glass), Robb's Coffee is the place for you, a great chill place for the barkadas.
