KARAOKE NIGHT!

Last month, my co-residents and I were invited for karaoke night by our pharmaceutical friends. We all trooped down to The Grand Tower Hotel. They have cool karaoke rooms there and yummy Chinese foods.

I am never fond of karaoke. Funny 'coz I am a regular member of the Glee Club since elementary until high school and have even done a lot of solo parts but karaoke was never for me. Go figure! I can never go along with the jumping dot and I don't know what songs to pick.

But when I was a post-graduate intern in Bacolod, most of my co-PGIs (most of them are from Xavier University in Cagayan) looooves karaoke. It is in their top de-stressing activity. And eventually, it became our bonding activity too.  So,we would head on out at MO2 or in a house of consultants who have made a karaoke pad for guests, along with residents and consultants. I have to put aside my indifference to karaoke, and had a blast with the magic mic. We have so much fun!!!

My Co-PGIs are experts in the karaoke world.. They know a lot of songs!!! From all genre! Grabe! So, to be a little prepared of the next karaoke night, I listed some song suggestions and I still keep it until now. Nerd! Haha!

Lastly, you don't need a voice like Angeline Quinto to do karaoke... The perfect ingredients to a successful karaoke night is just to have a fun and no-shame attitude with funny, bubbly & cool people... And yes, we got that ingredients down pat on our last karaoke party last month... So go ahead, grab that magic mic and sing your heart out.... No Simon Cowell will be watching.... hehe
