It's unfortunate that, in reality, the "And they lived happily ever after....." doesn't come easily as in fairy tales.
But this is as close as it gets. Hard times will only make us stronger. You will never get your happy ending until you actually believe you will. You make your own love story. It can be as beautiful as you want it to be.....
